Wonderful stay overall. The staff were incredibly welcoming, warm, and always helpful. The hotel itself is extremely charming — from the lobby and bar to the restaurant and the room. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was very appreciated. The bathroom was also full of character, with beautiful small tiles that added to the charm of the place. Check-in and check-out were both quick and smooth. Breakfast was very good; I especially recommend the croissants, and the servers can also prepare freshly cooked eggs for you on request. Highly recommended.

Big room but was very dated. Had quite a few spiders around bed and couch. Needs maintenance and updates.

Staff are excellent, extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful but there are one or two things that I would expect in a five star hotel namely - no mirror in the bedroom, no heating, the room was very chilly, the safe is far too small and the water wasn’t very hot. Nothing major was wrong but just a few niggles that shouldn’t have to be brought to the staff’s attention.

Have just returned from a golf break at Pirin, we were a group of four and our trip was organised through Your Golf Travel. Transfers to/from Sofia Airport are via the hotel's own shuttle, look for the driver holding a "Pirin Golf" sign. The drive from the airport takes about 2 hours so factor that into your overall travel time. At the hotel we were checked in smoothly, given a plan of the resort and a sheet detailing the various restaurants and their opening times. Our rooms were clean and had all the facilities you'd expect e.g. tv, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, safe and a minibar (not included in the all-inclusive package). There is also a coffee machine which is complimentary. The bathroom was large with wc, bidet, jacuzzi bath with shower over the bath. I would point out that the step into the bath is quite high and would probably be an issue for anyone with mobility problems. Personally I would prefer a walk in shower. In your room you'll find two bottles of water, these are complimentary but are not replaced during your stay, seemed a bit mean to us. Rooms are made up every day but not cleaned as far as I could tell, used towels are replaced daily. My room was 102 in the main part of the hotel. Noise from the bar next to reception was intrusive but did not go on beyond 11.30ish. Take earplugs if you like an early night. Otherwise ask for a room ending in 12 and above which would be in the wing on the other side of reception. Breakfast is in the Euro Kitchen and there's plenty of choice of hot and cold food. We had lunch each day at the golf clubhouse which was perfect for a light snack. There are several choices of restaurant but make sure you fully understand how the system works if you're on an all-inclusive package. We ate in The Octopus restaurant one evening, the food was excellent but the service wasn't great. Note that there are no physical menus, everything us done by scanning a QR code. All other evenings we ate in the Euro Kitchen, the buffet was plentiful and varied, we never struggled to find something to suit our varied palates and we ate well throughout our stay. We had no issues with the all-inclusive drinks package, the local beer and wine is good and my G&Ts were made with Gordon's. The golf course is an absolute joy. The were some wet/muddy patches but we were early in the season so that was not unexpected. Otherwise the course was in good condition and very playable. But it's the views that really make this course so special! The beautiful snow capped mountains offer such an amazing backdrop for your game. Its a tough walking course so consider booking buggies. The only bugbear I have with the course is the 12th hole. Its a ridiculous dog leg which almost double backs on itself. This hole, along with the 10th. 11th, 13th & 14th were not part of the original Woosnam layout but were intended as academy/practice holes. The 12th needs a serious rethink in my opinion, it really does detract from the quality of the rest

Breakfast at the Bella Vista is definite a highlight of the day. Captain of the Restaurant is a phenomenal woman named Jazmin Sous who runs an incredible team of servers and I’ll just name a few Luis Angel, Martin, Adolfo Armando, Clara, Ricardo, Ismael, Yasmin, Lilliana, Cesar and Baltasar. Their whole mission is to make your vacation as wonderful as they possibly can and it’s an incredible way to start the day and then it’s off to the beach where you run into another incredible group of servers that are there to elevate your beach day. Alberto runs a team including Margarito, Xavier,Sergio, David, Jose Juan, Edwin, Emanuel, Ivan, and Nefali and they are at your service the entire day. The rooms are clean, crisp with gorgeous views. The hotel lobby is beautiful. My husband and I have been going here for many many years and the beauty of the hotel and the kindness of the staff is what brings us back every year.

There was no breakfast menu we just got a bag with and apple, yogurt, muffin and drink box. The staff were pleasant. The room was nice and clean. Parking was ample. The whole complex wis in repair, no noticable sign, no pool no amenities at all. If we knew what it was like we would not have booked here.

La atención por parte del personal de recepción necesita mejorar las formas de atención al cliente. Sobretodo la persona llamada Susi. La forma de tratar a los huéspedes deja mucho que desear. La verdad que tenía unas expectativas más altas de este hotel.

Nous venons de passer un séjour enchanté à l’H?tel la Roya en Corse du 24 au 29 avril. Le site est tout simplement remarquable, offrant calme et vue imprenable sur le Golfe de Saint-Florent, les pieds dans l’eau. Notre chambre était un véritable havre de paix avec sa vue sur la mer et son confort moderne. C?té table, nous avons été conquis par l’excellence de la cuisine gastronomique du Chef César Combe. L’équipe de l’h?tel fut aux petits soins et nous tenons à remercier Philippe et Hugo pour leurs attentions particulières et précieux conseils. Enfin, nous n’oublions pas la présence discrète et affectueuse de Bulle, le chat de la Maison, qui ajoute une touche de convivialité à ce cadre luxueux.
