Hotel has a spacious lobby area which you can wait around if you have a late flight. There’s a Starbucks at the hotel for those who need their caffeine fix. As for the room, it’s really spacious. I just wish there was a makeup table to get ready in since the bathroom has limited space to put out the makeup. I was on the 5th floor and has my windows closed during the day time because the pool was literally outside. People can look inside your room! Definitely lacked privacy. I’ll recommend people to skip the 5th floor to be safe.

Troon is a cute little town, and this hotel was perfect. The views from the dining room and any sea-facing room are wonderful. Even my room from the back had a great view. But the comment everyone makes about the friendliness of the staff is on point. I've certainly stayed at places with a stand-out employee, but I've never stayed anywhere in decades of travel that had more invariably friendly and helpful staff. It will hardly seem real except that they're all genuine. Must be a fun place to work. Would gladly stay here again and build a trip around the visit.

The location is excellent, the taxi dropped us off right outside the hotel and we were walking distance from the Ancient Town. The host was really friendly and helpful. He recommended us some great local food spots and was very accommodating. The facilities were great and the hotel was very quiet and relaxing.

At this price point I think the customer has the right to expect excellence. There were just a few things that maybe caused me to drop two stars. First the good stuff: the staff were excellent and charming. The decor was very stylish. If you are not here to use the spa then you are probably here to visit the pink granite coastline. It is an excellent location for that. The car parking is plentiful and easy and there are electric car chargers. The rooms were comfortable and overall very very good. We ate in both restaurants and have left them both five star reviews. So, what was not quite so good? Some of this is outside the control of the hotel. 1: just one block away there is massive construction. It will be going on for years and has made the roads tricky for non locals. Maybe we could have been warned? 2. We paid extra for a sea view, whilst lovely we actually overlooked derelict tennis courts 3. As others have said, the service at the bar is terrible. We eventually gave up and walked to Le Retro 4. The shower in the next room shared its waste with ours (or so it seemed) Our neighbour took very early showers (5 am) and it was like they were in our room!) Maybe 3 starts is a bit harsh, because overall we did enjoy our stay!

We stayed at a family suite for three nights, the suite was spacious and clean. There's a washing machine and a little kitchen which basically got everything we required. Location of this hotel is unbeatable. Trian station and major tourist spots are all within walking distance. Loved it! Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at Agora Village Apartments over the Davido show weekend in Lusaka, and I honestly had an excellent experience from start to finish. The apartments were spotless, comfortable, quiet, and very well maintained. The room was clean, fresh, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. What stood out the most was the customer service. The reception staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. A special thank you to Mr. Jeff Simfukwe and the two gentlemen at reception who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and valued. Their hospitality, attentiveness, and positive attitude truly made a difference and added a personal touch to the experience. Despite it being a busy weekend in Lusaka, the environment remained peaceful, organized, and secure, which made it even more enjoyable. It is clear that the management places strong emphasis on cleanliness, professionalism, and guest satisfaction. Honestly, our only regret was that we stayed for just one night. Everything else was perfect, and we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Agora Village Apartments to anyone visiting Lusaka for business, leisure, or events. Highly recommended.

Mi estancia en el Marriott fue muy agradable en términos generales, pero quisiera hacer una observación que considero importante. Durante mi visita vi varios gatitos dentro de la propiedad, especialmente en las áreas cercanas al restaurante y jardines. Muchos de ellos parecían estar bastante delgados y necesitados de atención. En un principio me indicaron que no estaba permitido alimentarlos, aunque posteriormente me comentaron que podía hacerse en algunas zonas específicas. Entiendo que los hoteles deben mantener ciertas políticas operativas, pero considero que una cadena tan importante como Marriott podría implementar un programa de apoyo responsable para estos animales. Acciones sencillas como proporcionar alimento en áreas controladas, colaborar con asociaciones locales o promover campa?as de esterilización podrían marcar una gran diferencia. Todos podemos aportar un poco para hacer del mundo un lugar mejor, y creo que una empresa con el alcance y prestigio de Marriott tiene una excelente oportunidad de liderar este tipo de iniciativas de bienestar animal. Agradezco la atención y espero que esta sugerencia pueda ser considerada en beneficio de los animales y de la comunidad.
