All staff are very friendly and always with a smile and a greeting. Excellent breakfast, lots of choice to choose from. From continentalbreakfasts, cereals and choice of cooked breakfasts, all good. Room is clean and tidy. Free WiFi too. Love to go back there again but not ideal for accessibility with wheelchairs, lift is very tiny. I also will feel safe to stay alone, with lots of people milling around Christchuch town.

Very easy check-in. Lovely place, quiet and relaxing

Wow! What a hotel! Stuff is very young and perfect!

The staff is extremely nice and friendly, especially in the restaurants. Very welcoming. Good location for excursions. Absolutely excellent restaurant! Modern hotel decor. But it is not a 5 star hotel: Oddly, they only give you one towel per person to use at the pool and they keep your key hostage and threaten with a fine if you do not return the towel (not a five-star way to treat paying guests). Water bottle in room only on the first night. Closet hangers have hooks so you don't steal them. There is no turndown service. TV has only Italian language channels. Loungers by infinity pool very uncomfortable.

The mountain hotel is located in beautiful setting with an adjacent forest and a hot spring accessible from the premises. Views are marvellous, house cooking is excellent, serving traditional kaiseki of local food. The staff is very welcoming (including a cute robot) and ready to help. Since the hotel is not easily accessible by public transport, they provide a hotel shuttle car. My stay there was a unique, marvellous experience.

We stayed at a family suite for three nights, the suite was spacious and clean. There's a washing machine and a little kitchen which basically got everything we required. Location of this hotel is unbeatable. Trian station and major tourist spots are all within walking distance. Loved it! Highly recommended.

Everything was OK except some of SERVICE was not good. One of SERVICE water bottle no provide.

Hotel was very conveniently located. Very clean and great breakfast !

Troon is a cute little town, and this hotel was perfect. The views from the dining room and any sea-facing room are wonderful. Even my room from the back had a great view. But the comment everyone makes about the friendliness of the staff is on point. I've certainly stayed at places with a stand-out employee, but I've never stayed anywhere in decades of travel that had more invariably friendly and helpful staff. It will hardly seem real except that they're all genuine. Must be a fun place to work. Would gladly stay here again and build a trip around the visit.
