We stayed one night because we were attending a graduation nearby. We had two rooms and were able to bring our dogs with us. The property was clean, the grounds were large and beautiful, the rooms were large and clean, and the breakfast options were great. We had made to order omelettes! The outdoor space was not being used for any events so we were able to play fetch with our dogs, which was great! We are planning to go back for a long weekend, just to relax and enjoy!

Convenient and suited me while working in the area

Eagle Wind Manor provides charming and quaint accommodation in a gracious old house at the top of Botha’s Hill - convenient for both Hillcrest and Kearsney College. The beds were amazing - great mattresses and pillows, better than many top hotels I’ve stayed in. The room was cleaned and refreshed daily and the tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries were generous. The property is immaculately maintained by both gardening and household staff but it is not modern by any means and could do with a little updating, particularly the bathrooms, where water pressure in room 4 was very limited and the shower in room 2 also battled a little. We were a tad surprised to find that the garden had been hired out for a baby shower on our second day - it was a perfectly lovely event, but it would have been nice to have been warned! The check-in and check-out process was very simple and our hostess was delightful and efficient. We would definitely stay here again as it offers remarkably good value for money and excellent sleep quality.

Die Bedienung war freundlich, ansonsten aufgesprudeltes Leitungswasser für 5,40 der Liter, G?ste im, ansonsten leeren Lokal, zusammen gepfercht, weil es praktischer ist, die Rechnung bekommt man erst, nachdem man bezahlt hat. Gruss aus der Küche: Schweinsbraten in Ketchup auf einer Sparscheibe Baguette. Als Trinkgeld konnte man von 7% an aufw?rts ausw?hlen. Wir sind schnell wieder gegangen.

The hotel is lovely. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. The dinner was superb as are the wines that are offered. The owners are welcoming and accommodating and offer a wonderful experience.
