Hotel is nice the complimentary is a joke! Breakfast should be included, $12 for a continental breakfast a little high!

Sch?ne Zimmer, nettes Restaurant und freundliches Personal - bis auf den Schlie?er der JVA der aktuell im Wellnessbereich ?Aufsicht führt“

A stay at Burghotel auf Sch?nburg feels like stepping into another century. The location is simply unbeatable: a real medieval castle perched high above Oberwesel with breathtaking views over the Rhine valley and the UNESCO-listed Middle Rhine. The Secret Garden is one of the most beautiful hotel gardens we have ever seen, perfect for a quiet moment with a glass of wine before dinner. The rooms are full of character, the staff is warm and attentive without being intrusive, and the breakfast is excellent. Walking on the castle walls in the morning with mist still over the river is an experience we will not forget. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, atmospheric stay in the Rhine valley. We will be back.

Very helpful staff. Clean unit. Good value

The location is perfect if you only have 1-2nights. It is a family business, the people and the management is so friendly and go above and beyond. It is a perfect stay for me as i was traveling alone and i dont speak fluent mandarin. Highly recommend!!

Staff excellent Hotel needs updating badly

Tranquil hotel within walking distance to town. Nice view of town from the property. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was large with medieval touches.

Everything was clearly well thought out with the guest in mind. The view from the hotel is remarkable. A suggestion would be when a senior guest checks in, automatically assign a room with a shower as a tub arrangement is difficult for a senior to manage.

Worst room ive ever seen, no parking as was full, room had water all over floor broken toilet broken light, smelled of boddy odour and was dirty. Did not stay.......
