Yea the breakfast was great, all cooked on site. The meals are excellent, and good value

Very lovely atmosphere, room and shared spaces. The host was truly warm, welcoming and caring. Location is close to the coast and small villages with plenty of restaurants and things to enjoy. Highly recommend staying and enjoying the rural feel and quiet of the home.

I didn’t get the room I booked for and the room had bed bugs never again

酒店回复：Thank you for sharing your feedback. We regret that your stay did not meet your expectations. After reviewing the reservation details, we confirmed that the booking made through the third-party platform reflected the studio room category that was selected at the time of purchase. While we understand there was disappointment regarding the accommodations reserved, our team worked to explain the booking details and assist in any way possible within the limitations of the third-party reservation. We also take all cleanliness concerns extremely seriously. Following the comments raised during the stay, the room was professionally inspected by Ecolab, and no evidence of bed bugs or related concerns was identified. Our associates remained committed throughout the interaction to providing professional, respectful service, and we stand behind the cleanliness standards and guest experience we strive to deliver each day. We appreciate all guest feedback, as it allows us to continue improving and maintaining the high standards our travelers expect.

Saw a few ants on the nightstand. Also a horrible smell in bathroom. Not sure if it was sewer gas or a drain problem or a problem when they hooked up plumbing with no traps. Very noisy from Interstate traffic but can’t help that. Breakfast was great.

酒店回复：Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the breakfast during your visit. Our hotel maintains regular housekeeping, maintenance, and pest prevention programs as part of ongoing property operations and guest comfort standards. Your comments regarding the bathroom odor and the ants you observed have been noted and will be reviewed with the appropriate teams for inspection. Due to the hotel location near a major interstate, some traffic noise may vary depending on room placement throughout the property. We appreciate your observations and value your feedback as we continue working to improve the overall guest experience.Sincerely, Hotel Management

From the front desk to the restaurant and spa it has been a wonderful experience.

Paid for high level upper floor suite overlooking water.Received regular room on 2nd floor overlooking garbage dumpster. Was told that was the only room available. Later that evening was walking by front desk as a guest was checking in. Guest Was told his room was on sixth floor overlooking the water. Manager was unresponsive when I asked why we got a terrible room and this other person got the room I should’ve had. High parking fees. Don’t stay here

Afternoon, as I'm a regular customer, my stay at your accommodation is very customer caring which is why I feel more comfortable there. It has everything I required, especially when I'm on a FIFO that it can be very tiring for me to drive home to Yarrabah especially when you're sitting in a plane for an hour & a half. So be sure & ready for another booking for another overnight cap with the usual another Sunday overnight stay followed by another 2 night (Friday, Saturday) again, great work Team Balaclava Hotel for making my stay very comfortable, yours sincerely Cornelius.

Great location. Very clean and well-maintained property. Upscale. Very much enjoyed our stay.
