We arrived in Cherbourg by sailboat, but the journey had been rough and we were feeling cold wet and tired, and wanted a nearby place to recuperate, rather than sleep on our boat in the cold weather. This place was ideal. We had good wash and sleep, and was refreshed for our onward sailing journey.

Poor quality cleanliness. Grouchy staff. Location is a Motel (sucks) Six but lower quality.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. The hotel kindly arranged a pickup from the train station, which made our journey much more convenient. Upon check-in, we were welcomed with complimentary tea and chocolates, a thoughtful gesture that made us feel very welcome. The hotel was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and comfortable throughout our stay. Renting e-bikes was also very easy. Since we arrived in the afternoon and rented the bikes for one and a half days, the hotel even offered us a discount, which we really appreciated. As Shangri-La can be quite cold, the hotel also lent us scarves to keep warm when we went out. This small but thoughtful service showed how much they care about their guests' comfort. Overall, the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shangri-La and would gladly stay here again.

Wonderful Stay – Helpful Staff & Smart Toilet (A Must for Indonesians!) ?????????? We had a fantastic stay at Yanlu Library Shangrila Hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful – they answered every question we had about traveling around Shangrila. Upon check-in, they helped us carry our luggage upstairs even though there is no lift. Honestly, it wasn't a problem at all because they were so attentive and made the process easy. They also introduced all the hotel facilities and nearby tourist attractions, which helped us get familiar with the area quickly. One staff member even helped solve my ******* delivery app problem, introduced local specialties, and was always ready to help whenever we needed anything. A special thank you to Ms. Pan and Mr. Qiu – you two are the best! Your kindness and professionalism made our trip much more enjoyable. Now, the most important thing for Indonesian travelers like us: the smart toilet with bidet! We had been traveling in Yunnan for 8 days before arriving here, and this was the first time we found a toilet with a bidet. What a relief! After days without one, this felt like absolute luxury. If you're looking for a cozy, well-located hotel in Shangrila with genuinely helpful staff and thoughtful facilities, look no further. Highly recommended! 位置优越，临近地铁出行很方便。前台办理入住高效，服务热情。房间乾净无异味，衞浴乾湿分离，热水即开即来，床垫柔软隔音不错，一觉安稳。性价比在线，出差首选，下次还住这里 。

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would absolutely recommend

We did not have breakfast. They gave us a bag lunch to take with us when we left for our flight in the morning bag. Lunch was terrible. We believed that there was an airport shuttle. Their shuttle does not run until 9 AM. They have a sign on their desk that says they have a shuttle to take you downtown. In the middle of the afternoon they told us that the shuttle was not available. You are quite a distance from any place else to eat. There is nothing within the area to walk to. So you have to take a cab. Going to the airport was expensive and going for pizza was expensive.
