We had a nice ground floor room, very clean, modern and comfortable. One of the best showers we’ve had in a hotel. Friendly welcoming staff, near the beach and the good club. Highly recommend.

Very noisy location if you open the Balfour smell all kind of food which make me nauseous. I thought that the hotel has its own beach access but no the view was only from the balcony and the public beach is not well maintained! Breakfast and lobby areas are small ! And breakfast buffet is not a five star restaurant! It’s not a five star ?? hotel!

The weather turned stormy;. but tho staff was spectacular. They went out of their way to make us comfortable, and were so kind we were amazed at how well they treated us. David, the GM, showed us constant attention and looked after our every need. Our suite was beautiful and very well kept. The location is spectacular and it was just our bad luck that the weather turned.. The food was great and the chef, Brian, prepared wonderful food that accommodated our dietary needs. The Bay of Many Coves is a must stay when visiting New Zealand—you won’t be disappointed.

There was no breakfast menu we just got a bag with and apple, yogurt, muffin and drink box. The staff were pleasant. The room was nice and clean. Parking was ample. The whole complex wis in repair, no noticable sign, no pool no amenities at all. If we knew what it was like we would not have booked here.

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Tugu Lombok, it felt like stepping into another world—one where every detail is carefully crafted to create a truly unforgettable experience. Our room was absolutely beautiful, complete with a private plunge pool and a unique outdoor bathroom that felt luxurious yet perfectly in tune with the surroundings (and, thankfully, completely bug-free!). Dining was another highlight. The food was consistently excellent, and the dining room itself is set in such a serene, picturesque spot by the pool, overlooking the beach. Every meal felt special. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the atmosphere. The entire property is rich with character—statues, artifacts, and historical touches seem to appear around every corner, giving the grounds a magical, almost museum-like quality while still feeling warm and inviting. The beach and views are simply stunning, offering the perfect backdrop for relaxation. And the staff? Absolutely exceptional—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. The seamless transfer arranged between the hotel and Gili T made everything effortless. A heartfelt thank you for such a relaxing and memorable stay—and a special mention to the creative genius behind the delightful towel displays, which brought a smile to our faces every day! Very small portions for the price of each meal. Three tiny new potatoes, sliver of sea bass and five strands of purple sprouting broccoli. Come on Hannafore Point, people are not eating out much because of the costs, so you need to up the game if you want people to come back. All four of us felt disappointed with the portion sizes and left feeling hungry. Won’t be eating here anymore. However, just to note that the staff are lovely and attentive.

Property is in dire need of restoration. Restaurant and Bar area very nice, other than that it is 2 star property at best. They charge a resort fee of $25 per night, not sure what that was for as it is certainly not a resort. We were originally in one of their suites over the check-in counter and it was not what was advertised on pictures. They moved us to the Meckenburg???, which had been updated and was much nicer, but not worth the $500/night all in we were charged for our stay. I would say the hotel rooms even in season should not be more than $200/night given condition of property. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was okay......basically a continental breakfast. I would suggest staying a multitude of different properties close by. Don't let the pictures convince you to stay, they are not represntative of the property condition.
