Except hotel with really large rooms. Very quiet place to stay and get your thoughts together and even meditate. I loved the quietness and the scenery around to hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful. The hotel restaurant was also very good. We also toured the local “Pilgrim Craft Beer Brewery” located next door to the hotel. The brewmasters were very cordial and knowledgeable about brewing. The flavors of beer we fantastic. Very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend if you looking to get away from the big city hustle and bustle.

The property looks very nice on the surface, but there were things that threw me off. Bathroom (tiolet) upon arrival was not clean. And most light switches do absolutely nothing. AC ran but not very cool, was hot most night. The food at a few restaurants was supposed to be first class, I actually found better food at the 2 buffets. Most of the staff were pleasant, there were a few that let's say you could tell they hate their job.

The check in was good. Front desk has been helpful. The breakfast staff lady this morning was pretty crabby. If you are French you get to sit where you want. American not so much. Not helpful at all this morning. The gentleman at breakfast when we were done was nice. Breakfast itself was not very good. Most of the selection was not hot just warm at best.

Only problem is location is next to platform of station hence lot of noise from train and vehicles in parking lot all the time

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with free electrolytes in the mini-fridge and there was a Nespresso with plenty of pods. It also smelled really nice. There was a spacious semi-private outdoor seating area with a fire pit. Staff was helpful at the Spa, though the Lobby / Check-in person was kind of awkward. Maybe she was new. The grounds are huge and it's easy to get lost, so be prepared to do lots of walking or continuously call for a golf cart to chauffeur you around. It's also kind of confusing the way the "rooms" (which are stand-alone units) are numbered, and I couldn't figure out the order or logic behind it. That said, it was lovely, clean, and the amenities are incredible. Guests get free access to use the sauna, steam room, salt room, and adult-only heated pool for free, but have to make a reservation and have one hour to use the spa facilities.

Franchement pas top, ils veulent faire dans le gastro mais n'y arrive pas, viande style onglet en sorte de brochette archi cuit, limite semelle, pas de frite mais un minuscule ramequin de pommes sautées et 3 feuilles de salade en accompagnement, j'ai encore fin en sortant !

Thoroughly recommend Canaston Oaks for a break in Pembrokeshire. Lovely and welcoming host. Our room was just perfect with everything we needed and very clean. Lots of thoughtful touches including fresh milk in the fridge for that cuppa after a long journey. We also had a private outdoor seating area to chill. Breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of choices using fresh local produce. The site itself is perfect with parking. A lovely walk down to the river with several well placed benches to sit and relax and watch the wildlife. A real gem of a base from which to explore Pembrokeshire or just chill and recharge the batteries. 100% recommend. We will be returning!
