Mangnificent, restaurant next door, magnificent

Property is in dire need of restoration. Restaurant and Bar area very nice, other than that it is 2 star property at best. They charge a resort fee of $25 per night, not sure what that was for as it is certainly not a resort. We were originally in one of their suites over the check-in counter and it was not what was advertised on pictures. They moved us to the Meckenburg???, which had been updated and was much nicer, but not worth the $500/night all in we were charged for our stay. I would say the hotel rooms even in season should not be more than $200/night given condition of property. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was okay......basically a continental breakfast. I would suggest staying a multitude of different properties close by. Don't let the pictures convince you to stay, they are not represntative of the property condition.

The hotel was very clean, neat and well organized. The breakfast choices changed regularly and the small souflfle's were delicious. There was diligent staff cleaning and resupply breakfast items. The front desk staff was extremely nice and accommodating.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The parking was close by with a few restaurants nearby. Will recommend and stay again

Séjour excellent dans cet h?tel ! Tout était parfait : la chambre était propre, confortable et très agréable, le personnel toujours accueillant et professionnel, et l’ambiance générale vraiment reposante. Un immense merci surtout à Alexia, qui a été absolument géniale du début à la fin. Toujours souriante, attentionnée et disponible, elle a vraiment rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable grace à sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme. C’est rare de tomber sur une personne aussi investie et chaleureuse. Je recommande cet h?tel sans hésitation et nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

First of all I want to leave a good note for the diving school at that location. Helpfull staff, excellent service. Price is higher compare to other places, but I had one on one dives with my instructor so happy about that. I would defenitely go back there is the resort wasn't that really bad. About the resort: The 3.7 rating should already be a warning to be taken seriously. They claim to be a high end resort, but it is the opposite. The service is absolutely at point zero, you can sit for hours at the beach or the swimming pool, but do not expect someone to come from the restaurant to take on order, they wil simply ignore you. When you see this lack of service it is often a lack of training or no customer interest at all. You expect this resoirt to be run by a decent General Manager. Well exactly there is the problem. Mr. Romeo Co rather would go into a discussion and even threaten you than to listen to guests. I ordered a pizza with seafood (on the menu was not mentioned cheese, which is normal for a shrimp pizza and exactly why I ordered it. (on other pizza's the cheese was mentioned). I got a pizza with missing ingredi?nts (they were not on stock, apperently communication for that is not neccesay) and the pizza was overloaded with chewy cheese, so much that you could not even taste the shrimps anymore. Knowing myself, eating the pizza with that amount of chees would certainly mean a stomach burn for me. The general manager came to discuss with me (after the waitress and after the chef of the kitchen. The completely unqualified guy, went into a discussion that pizza's without cheese do not exist (maybe only in his mind), He could not take it back as there was some piece eaten (correct, I tried it for maybe 10% of the whole pizza). What he wanted to do with it if it was the whole pizza (give it to the next guests?) I was the only one in the restaurant and as far as I could see the only person in the whole resort. After that he tried the threathening way (yes really). If I was to send back the pizza, he would deduct it from the salary of the waitress, so I should really think about that. She was not to blame, he is as fully ignorant manager, was to blame. A manager is there for the guests, in a high end resort (rooms are easily 200 dollars a night), you would think you would be respectd as a guest. Well forget that. He did enough to be sure I will not return here. Prizes for food are ridicoulous and than you do not even have your ingredients on stock. You try to imitate a italian kitchen, but haven't got the feintest idea about Italian food. (you serve a Pasta carbonara with an Alfredo creamy sauce, It is on the menu, really). Storeboard ingredients (like the dressing on the ceasar salad, which by the way had nothing to do with a ceasar salad, as you went through the ingredients. Mr Arrogance us ruling as a king looking to win his battle and at the same time loose the war. Was he trained and schooled he would realize that, but he doesn't

Location spot on, just a couple minutes walk and your in the centre of Chester. Car park spot on just across the road and discount with the hotel. The room was quite big and clean and the bar area was very comfortable and right up to the road Breakfast was very nice Would definitely stay there again

Bags of character, lovely food. Short walk to the seafront. Already booked to visit again

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Central. L’accueil a été chaleureux et professionnel, le personnel toujours souriant, disponible et attentif aux moindres détails. La chambre était impeccable, confortable et décorée avec go?t, avec une literie de grande qualité qui nous a permis de parfaitement nous reposer. L’environnement est calme et très agréable, idéal pour se détendre. Concernant le restaurant, ce fut une véritable belle surprise : des plats savoureux, bien présentés, préparés avec des produits du terroir et de qualité. Le service était attentionné, et l’ambiance très conviviale. Terrasse exceptionnelle ! Un établissement que je recommande sans hésitation pour un séjour alliant confort, gastronomie et accueil irréprochable. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
